4.0 out of 5 stars Decent range, decent sound, short cord., September 2, 2009

I got these for Christmas and have been using them quite a bit with both my laptop and Windows Mobile smartphone and it handles switching between the two devices with 0 issue. My biggest gripe is the lower volume (and therefore lower bass) available with these earbuds when compared to their wired equivalent model, but they're excellent at dampening out the sounds around you.

The cord can become a pain at times if I don't have a good place to clip them to while I'm biking but is overcome easily enough. They'd be perfect with more volume and a few inches more slack on the cord.

1.0 out of 5 stars Great for telephone, terrible for stereo/tv, February 14, 2009

The setup is nice. Clips on to your collar, or on your shirt, the earbuds isolate sound very well, and sound quality is good. The problem is, the reception is AWFUL. If you turn your body 1/4 turn away from the transmitter, the signal drops out. I bought this for watching tv/video/dvds, along with the matching transmitter. I linked it to my cell phone, and it works well for that, but listening around the house this stinks. Drops out constantly, even if you are near the transmitter sometimes. I have used the Motorola headphones, which are a traditional form factor, over the ear type. Those are amazing, strong reception, nary a dropout, but this Sony earbud-style receiver is not very good. It just doesn't deliver as promised.

3.0 out of 5 stars Bluetooth Headset, February 8, 2008

It works very well; easy to use, but:
1) the cord is too short for my needs.
2) the ear buds don't stay in my ears.
