This is the only BT headphones which does not have the 'plug' ear piece. If this doesn't bother you then you might very well get the SE HBH-DS980. But the ear plugs drives me crazy so after a week long search I got this.

First off, the ear phone which come with this is pathetic. It feels cheap and there was a huge volume diff between the left and right ear pieces.

But the good thing about this is that you can use your own headsets, so I'm using this with my Bose headset for music and iPhone's earphones for phone calls(mic and the buttons on the apple's ear phone wont work). But be aware that for a wireless headset you would still be dealing with lots of wires.

Look and feel of it is good but is not as sturdy and stylish as I would expect from SE.

Sound quality was fine, for me it was as good as the iPod. The connection was great, it took about 1 min to pair and it stayed connected.

It has a monochromatic display, which has a battery indicator and that is it, You don't get the caller id.

It has three buttons, Power button at the bottom, Volume rocker (which will skip tracks if you hold it for a sec) and a enter (call/end and pause/play) button.

Conclusion:

Good:
1. You can use your own head set. Mic is on the cylinder
2. Mic is good. It was very clear. People didn't know the diff
3. Has a display for battery.

So-So:
1. Battery was OK. I had to charge it daily with about 1hr in calls and about 4 hrs music
2. Doesn't look wow, but doesn't look cheap either.

Bad:
1. Comes with a horrible headset
2. Have to deal with all the wires
3. It doesn't display caller id
4. The call/end button is not ideally placed. Need some getting used to.

In all if you are stuck with a phone that does not have a 3.5mm jack or hate all those ear plugs, this would be good for you. But be prepared to handle all the wires.

I purchased this product to see if it would work with my iPod touch. It works and works well. I mainly use it for working out. I have a perfect place where I can set my bag with my iPod inside and I can walk almost anywhere in the workout area and keep the music going. Sound quality is great and so far the battery life is good too. Great for any auxiliary port so you dont always have to have your iPod wired up.

Connects easily to my LG Vu CU920, initial setup as well as turning it on.

No issues with features: A2DP, Call/answer/hangup, redial worked. Mic and volume worked great (clipped around my collar), a lot better then simply talking on the phone itself. Almost 30 ft range. At least 5 hrs of continuous music play.

Existing headphones worked fine, replaced it with my walkman sports when in the gym or biking....clipped it next to my phone in the armband. Am starting to like it more as I get used to the clip and headphones (keep headphone in one ear when nothing else)

Problem:
Brief loss of connection once in a while, depending on location, but no interference at home. May be typical of all BT devices.
Music Volume control....requires the right balance between my phone volume output. Just like an Equilizer, keep the phone Volume at 4 bars, and leave the rest to the BT's volume control to increase/decrease vol...able to get it as loud as any reasonable hears can handle.

Decent sound quality, not as good as my Sansa clip (may be the LG phone), but with BT music stream and other convenient features, I'm satisfied.

I bought this to use while running with a Tmobile MyTouch (HTC Magic). It worked great for about 2 weeks and then died.

Will not stay connected to device. Works great when it does connect. no Multip[airing capability. Will only connect to one device at a time.

I had a pair of Sony HBH-is800 for two years before the wire broke for the microphone. This system is much sturdier. I use it to commute on a bicycle. This HBH-205 system allows me to use ear phones that don't fall out of my ears and gives me an idea of how much battery life I have left. Great battery life 6 -8 hours compared to my 2 hours of the is800. I wish it had a place for a lanyard because I have knocked it off my collar Mt. Biking.
So far great product and good price half that of the HBH-is800.

I have actually bought two of these. The first one had a problem with the charging contact after about 1 month and could no longer be charged. The second one has worked great until just the other day. Now it seems to lose it's Bluetooth connection for no reason. I hope it's just user error and it will work fine again. When it works, it works wonderfully. I use it for bike riding so I can mount my iPhone on my bike and don't have wires draping down to it.

Recieved unit, charged as required but would not turn on. Returned with no problems and purchased a Sonorix unit that has worked well for me.

Good product, works well. People say the microphone sounds a little muffled but can hear me just fine. Seems to work with any headphones. The headphones that come with it are cheap and I just don't like that type. When using high end headphones (Sony MDR) the sound is good but not great and doesn't get very loud, (Large headphones probably need more power to get loud). Only product I have found that uses standard headphones and turns them into bluetooth headset. Works pretty much like I expected them to. Only issue is that it is hard to tell if the power is on or off. As far as battery life: it outlasts my cell battery! Overall, great product.

Some reasons for me to buy this Sony Ericsson headset were: 1. Sonny Ericsson is well-known for high quality of sound system and 2. the bluetooth gadget can be separated from the headset, so I can switch to another pair of headset if they are broken.

I have this item for almost 2 months now and it works above my expectation! It works great with my Nokia cellphone; keeps connected strongly even when I run to the second floor. The default wire is relatively short, so the gadget can only stay as far as my collar; but anyway, you can change the headset if you'd like. You can control the volume, changing the songs, or answering the phone with the bluetooth gadget itself.

Very good quality of product! I am very satisfied with my purchase!
