This was my first smartphone. The apps of the android system are great, but if you download many of them your system is likely to crash a lot. The touchscreen may be cool at first, but sometimes simple tasks such as dialing or saving a number may become annoying, especially if the system gets slower and slower due to apps. The battery life is not too good. I have to recharge the phone daily even if I didn't make a long phone call. I am satisfied with the camera, which produces very good photos in my opinion. What makes this phone great is its size, look and the camera. Although the size makes this phone pretty handy, the touchscreen and the system may not be very convenient especially for basic usage such as phone calls and sms. All in all, I still like it but I think I should have bought the version with integrated keypad.

The phone is really a nice size in the world , bigger is always better.
Set up with ATT was automatic. Everything worked perfect. It fit easy in the 5th pocket of the jeans, even sideways, testing was a snap after installing a free keyboard(hate T9) the battery was excellent 2-3 days easy with normal use, my Aria could not get even one day.

Pictures are very sharp and clear, much nicer then my iphone4, sound is great and reception was awesome always had at least 3 bars out of 4.

All around a great phone, however I love phones and sent it back for a newer toy.
I would buy this phone again, in a heart beat.

If you are tired of the big new fashion handsets, this one is for your. Complete and small. Be carefull if your fingers are too big....

Got this phone for my sister. I tried it for a day and really got hooked to it.
Although it lacks the full qwerty keyboard, the on-screen keyboard is really easy to use.
This little thing is packed with all the android goodies and a great camera.
Sony's timescape is the icing on the cake.
If you are someone who doesn't want to sign a 2yr contract with your operator, but still want to try out the Android platform, you might want to go in for something like the xperia mini or xperia mini pro.

Now... yes this phone does NOT have a great battery life with one having to charge the battery everyday. But that is not all about this great device. First of all it has to be its size which will make you wonder... can this thing carry of so many features.. and trust me.. it does and very easily at that.

The good news is that SE has released the Android 2.1 update for this phone.. so a major problem of no bluetooth file transfer has been solved. The phone has an in-built memory of 128 MB which is kinda enough for the apps.. for me at least. The battery can be optimised with a few intelligent settings changes.. like keeping the background data off if you are not using the internet all the time.

One reviewer said that this phone doesnt have the Android Market app... which is basically not true. This phone does have the app and it works like a breeze. Most apps work flawlessly keeping in mind the small screen and its limitations.

You would either love this phone or hate it. I love it for the whole effort behind to produce something new, something out of the mould. Yes, for this design you would have to live with certain limitations.. but then, im not a great texter in the first place. And I have my laptop with me all the time to send emails if extremely necessary!!

So I would definitely vote for this phone.

Well the description says it all it is ver VERY small but is very VERY impresive all the aplications and features that this smartphone can present to you camera is good wi fi 3G all seems to be very good the problem is the size after a while you start felling some pain in your hands trying to figure it out how to hold it but thats the reason why they called mini my wife love it and it seems that once you get the hang of it all come together

I bought this phone more than a year ago and works perfectly, I have many android apps. My favorite is Aldiko which allow me carry my books and looks great. I use it to do FB and Twitter as well as review my e-mail, the screen is a little small to actually navigate in internet but in this size you can{t have all. For those who are used to use predictive text to send SMS its OK but those who prefer a full keyboard this is not the phone, actually it is the only weakness of the X10 mini I did not get why does not have a full on screen touch keyboard. What really surprised me is the quality of the video which is great, the camera is also good.

Problems with the shipping? : no, i got it on time. Even tho i had to pay for the 2 days shipping thing because i was leaving the USA.

Problems with the way i got it? : no, it was really nicely with all the box and everything BUT, i was EXTREMELY dissappointed with the fact that it says : white / pink and i ONLY got the white case :S and it was obviously on the phone...!
No pink case ANYWHERE.

Problems with the phone : well, yeah, everything everybody is saying: the battery dies super fast, i have to put it to charge daily.
It gets hot when its charging. ...
The texting thing is awful because its like the old phone kind of thing, u have to type the same box for abc and stuff like that, just like the old phones. but u get used to it, im used to it now.
Somethin i didnt know : u cant get the battery out, so if it ever dies because of the battery its not like u could say, oh well, im going to buy another battery, no way. u cant remove that battery by urself.

but i love it.

I recently bought this phone for my girlfriend, and it is pretty nice, it works fine and has a lot of features.
It came only with pink case, but that is not a big deal.
The battery life is only one day or less, but it charges very fast!
It came with 2GB memory card, charger, USB cable, and headphones.
Now there is a problem with our operator! Our 3G works at 850Mhz! and this phone supports only 900Mhz and 1200Hz, so basically we are using this phone as 2G. That's a very important thing to mention on the advise.
Now I know there is another version that works at 850!! :S
