The Sony Ericsson G700i is a powerful personal organizer in-your-pocket that keeps all your contacts, calendars, notes, pictures and favorite Web sites just a fingertip away. It pairs a standard numeric keypad with a brightly colorful touchscreen that lets you jot down a note on the screen with a stylus, just as you would with a pen on paper. This unlocked cell phone can be used with a GSM network service provider and it provides tri-band connectivity (900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz). It does not come with a SIM card, and it requires that you provide a SIM card for usage with your selected service provider. When paired with a compatible 3G network that uses UMTS 2100 MHz connectivity (found in Europe and Asia), you'll enjoy a variety of feature-rich wireless services with speeds up to 384 Kbps--from data connectivity to your office to multimedia streaming, and take advantage of simultaneous voice and data services. In the United States and foreign territories where 2100 MHz 3G networks are not available, you'll continue to receive data service via EDGE network (depending on network compatibility).

Phone Features
With the With the G700, you can quickly and easily access your calendar, reach family and friends via voice and messaging options, and scribble and save your notes on your phone. Jot down a note on the screen with a stylus, just as you would with a pen on paper, and save it on your phone's desktop to remind you--just as you'd stick a note on the fridge. You can even draw a map to the local shop or doodle personal notes to send them via email or MMS messaging.

The 2.4-inch touchscreen has a 240 x 320-pixel resolution with a color depth of 256K colors. To initiate a call or message to a contact, just touch the relevant name in your phonebook and all of the various contact options will appear onscreen. You can even browse your photo album using the tip of your finger. The G700 also has dedicated keys for messaging, notes and a key lock on the side of the phone. The phone as an internal 160 MB memory, which can be expanded by optional Memory Stick Micro (M2) media (up to 8 GB).
