After trying out various phones such as the iphone 3g, and blackberry tour I fell in love with this phone.

Let me start out by saying that I liked the phone using the touchscreen so much that I felt like I didn't really need the keypad anymore which is a bummer. So yes the touch screen is very easy to use that not even the keyboard, which is the reason I bought it, is that useful. At times when you are writing a long text to write direction sure that can be very useful, but other than that the touch screen keyboard does a great job of saying your playful texts, invitations to your house party, or hellos. So it depends how much you are going to type. For right now I'm not sure whether it would've been worth getting the mini not this pro because its a little smaller and the touch screen works nice.

Reason I got this phone over the Iphone 3G

Now the reason I didn't like the iphone 3g is the qwerty touchscreen. After using a blackberry there was no way the iphone was easier to touch than the blackberry, because you don't get feedback. Some people like using the iphone keypad but who knows if they have used other phones. This is why I got this phone. This phone has a nice keyboard, and touchscreen. You get two worlds here. But like I said the touchscreen worked so nice even though this just has T9 keypad on the screen it works flawlessly

Also after having the iphone what I liked about this phone much better is the ease of use. The iphone 3g is many times slower than this phone. However I'm not sure about the 3Gs it isn't the reason why I didn't like the iphone its just because of the keypad.

Sound Quality
There isn't much to be said here. The quality sound much more fuller than the Iphone by far.

The thing is, I got it thinking that it would work on AT&T network, and while it did work with calls & messaging, it didn't with the 3G. But being fair (and that's the reason why I'm giving it a minimum of 3 starts) for the time I used it, it worked well & the seller (HasselFree) was really nice and accepted the return with no problem.

The only input on the phone that I can give you is:
- It's not as well made as the Nokia products that I have.
- It's a good "cheap" option for anyone looking for a smart phone
- It doesn't work with 850/1900/2100 band (AT&T 3g). I thought it might, but the one that does work is x10a (the one sent was U20i).

I never had an smartphone before. So, I'm very happy with this one!!
It's a small smartphone that contains everything I need and also, having an ANDROID S.O. I can download or purchase apps for it. The QWERT keyboard isn't too small for fingers; I preferred that try this one.
I believe that by having a touch screen battery consumption is faster... But works very well!!!

It's unlocked and works very well with the SIM CARDS tested... I'm using one now from T-mobile.

About the looks it's fantastic!!!

Hello, this is an almost perfect phone for its size, but like many users have mentioned, the battery runs out very quickly. Everything else it's good, signal reception, sound quality and display. The keyboard it's very handy. Also the Android OS lets you enhance it with a lot of apps (It comes with Android version 2.1)

I bought this phone to use on the AT&T network. I do NOT have a data plan since I bought it to replace the POJ phone that my employer gave me. This is a VERY small Android phone. I have found that the small screen combined with the keyboard is a winning format. Trying to type with the on screen keyboard is impossible.

Pro: Small size, nice little keyboard, good (but not awesome) performance. Supports 16gb SD card, good quality screen, good voice quality, speaker phone is nice and loud, good WiFi performance, nicely responsive touchscreen, generally quality feel.

Con: stuck with Android 2.1 (not addressing custom roms), no flash support, screen is quite small, battery longevity (keep wireless off and it's much better), sometimes keyboard is squeaky for some reason, screen does wash out in bright light.

Overview: I'm quite happy with this phone. I use it in conjunction with my HP Touchpad so I don't need to carry a massive phone. I'm a total fan of this little phone. Just to reiterate. This is a SMALL phone, if you want a big ole screen this is NOT the phone for you.

**I'm not addressing any quirks of software, this is just a review of the hardware itself.

This is an amazing little phone. As a phone, voice is clear on both ends. Android 2.1 comes with the phone and you only need to jump to android market to get a ton of applications. If you do SMS often, the default application is somehow limited, I suggest you download HandCentSMS, which is free.
The QWERTY sliding keyboard is a great asset, so much, I have not yet used the virtual keyboard. The keys feel real and have a nice clack feedback. D/t the size of the phone, if you have fat fingers you might be in trouble.
GPS/WIFI/Bluetooth. This phone has it all.
D/t android, it has great integration with google products (google+,gmail, picasa, docs, etc)
Only problem is the battery, if you play a bit too much with the phone, it won't last a working day.
PROs: android, size, keyboard, gps/wifi/bluetooth, FM radio, PRICE!!
CONs: battery too small
