With its 2-1/2-inch active matrix LCD screen and built-in sun shield, the Sony FDL-252T makes an ideal portable TV for the backyard or park. When in use, the unit stands about 7.75 inches tall, but it also folds conveniently into a smaller size for easier storage. In addition, users don't have to worry about bulky antennas breaking off, as the TV employs an innovative neck strap antenna (dubbed a Straptenna) that receives both UHF and VHF reception. To improve spotty reception, merely move the unit and antenna strap until a good broadcast signal comes through.

The FDL-252T includes both volume and brightness controls, and the unit comes with a pair of headphones that plug into the included headphone jack for private listening. The unit also comes with AV and RF inputs for component connection. The device, which measures 3.6 x 7.75 x 2.88 inches (W x H x D), runs on four AA batteries for a duration of approximately three hours. It also connects to a separately sold AC adapter.

The Sony 2.5 in. Handheld Color TV (FDL-252T) isn't a terrible buy. The price is good, and the screen is not that small. Yet, there are many bad qualities to the TV.
Pros: Good 2.5 inch screen, nice sleek design,
and good price.

Cons: Bad sound quality, hard to get good picture
reception, and it doesn't come with a case or adapter.

All in all this product isn't one of sony's best, but it fits most needs.

(...) It had a good picture once you adjusted the bright. Sound quality is good. The folding makes it compact and the antenna in the strap really works, you just have to position yourself to get the best reception. (...)
