The fingerprint software is very accurate and fast. Sony says accuracy rate over 99%. I believe it. This is a very high-tech gadget.

I purchased this device just weeks before Sony announced it was to be discontinued. They dropped the device and then the software. I now have a buggy device with buggy software that requires rebooting my PC frequently just to get the software working again. Sony says "tough"! Never again will I buy anything from Sony! Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

i have ordered two units of this item and i found no CD with the package, the units are totally useless now..
am trying to contact amazon.com

The unit is totally useless now,,,,
