Sony has a history of making nice sound equipment and this is no exception. I wanted a 5 disc changer and after looking at the other machines available decided on this one. I live in Salt Lake City which is a long way to ship, and the boxes showed some damage, but Sony packages their equipment well and there was no damage to the units. The sound is good, and I am happy with my purchase.

I purchased this at best buy. I tested it in store and was impressed. After hooking it up at home to my Mac (yes, it's now my powered pc speakers)...AMAZING!!!!! No other bookshelf type stereo system can hold a candle to the full deep rich and impressive sounds that this system produces !! If your looking for quality and the wow effect, this is it. Look no further !! Enjoy.
