The KE-37XS910 looks sleek, with its 16:9 widescreen glass-panel design and integrated 15-watts-per-channel speakers. Its high-contrast screen features a double anti-reflective coating to minimize unwanted room reflections. TruSurround Sound SR 3D Audio processing creates the effect of surround sound using only the two built-in speakers. What's more, it eliminates the need to sit in the "sweet spot" where the audio sounds best, ensuring that any seat in the house is a good one.
For watching multiple sources simultaneously, the TV features both picture-in-picture and flexible picture-and-picture, with which you can have two resizable windows running simultaneously. It also automatically adjusts to wide/widescreen modes.
The KE-37XS910 features an Enhanced Memory Stick Media slot, so you can insert a Sony Memory Stick directly into the TV to display images from your digital camera or play MP3 audio or MPEG1 video--without needing to connect your camera or MP3 player. Looking at photos couldn't be easier.
Convenient channel features include auto programming, favorite channel preview, and Progam Palette presets. The onscreen display menus are available in English, Spanish or French, and the TV can display closed captioning for the hearing impaired or for any time you want to watch silently. The TV also features a sleep timer, V-Chip technology for parental control, and color temperature adjustment.
The unit includes a built-in NTSC tuner, so it doesn't need any external hardware to be used as a television. A direct DVI (digital video interface) HDTV connection ensures that through digital transmission of HD signals from external devices featuring a DVI connector, images retain their fullest quality. The set also has HD component-video and S-Video inputs for connecting a DVD player or other high-resolution device, an RF input for connecting a VCR, and composite-video inputs for connecting a camcorder or video game. Its audio outputs include a separate subwoofer feed. Audio and video inputs are located on both the front and the back of the TV for easy access.
What's in the Box
TV, owner's manual, Cosmetic Design remote control RM-1001, 2 AA batteries, and stand or wall bracket depending on configuration.

Flat screen died,
By Robby Robinson "Globetrotter" (Kalifornia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Sony KE37XS910 37-Inch WEGA HDTV-Ready Flat Panel Plasma TV (Electronics)
Was a nice tv when it was new, however two years after first use, the flat panel screen started showing some vertical lines going down the right side of he screen. Sony indicated it was out of warranty, and that a new screen would be $2500.00 plus install. We put some black tape over the lines, but new ones kept appearing, then when we decided to replace it, no screens were available. Not bad for a $ 4500.00 TV. Next time around an LCD tv from somewhere else.

Very disappointed,
By MichaelM (New York) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Sony KE37XS910 37-Inch WEGA HDTV-Ready Flat Panel Plasma TV (Electronics)
This unit was purchased new and used infrequently. Very unhappy as it has now developed a 1.5-2 inch vertical black line running the width of the screen.
I will begin the process of repairing the unit. But it is out of warranty, and if you look on the web, you will see that other owners have had this same problem-and it costs thousands for repair. I would strongly discourage others from purchasing a Sony TV.
