The Sony KP-61XBR200 is equipped to deliver a uniquely satisfying home theater experience, offering a clearer picture and richer sound than most other big-screen TVs. The 61-inch model employs Sony's Digital Reality Creation technology, which doubles the pixels on each scan line (vertical and horizontal) to create a screen with four times the density. It also offers such favorites as a Multi-Image Driver, which allows the viewer to watch two broadcasts at once either side by side or on the main screen and a smaller inset window, and favorite channel preview (up to eight channels). As with Sony's other rear projection TVs--most use a trio of high-brightness picture tubes and large-diameter hybrid lenses (F1.1)--the KP-61XBR200 also offers automatic color convergence through the Flash Focus feature.

Viewers who appreciate custom control will like the multiple picture presets (vivid, standard, movie, game, and pro), along with the channel indexing feature, which lets users select from several channels that are displayed onscreen at the same time.
