My Sony Bloggie Touch fits well inside this case, with just a small amount a room to spare. It is just tall/long enough to fit the camera in, but there is a bit of extra room in the width and depth. Just enough to allow for an extra USB cable or other small item. There are in-wall pockets inside the case that are just the right size to fit SD cards snugly into place without them falling all around inside.

The inside of the case is a soft, black, fleece like material, while the outside is made of a smooth nylon.

The clip on the top of the case is much more sturdy and secure than my first impressions were of the one in the stock photo pictured here. It is plastic, but it's larger than it appears here and thick. Also, it swivels, to make getting in and out of the case easy at any angle, without the need to unclip it to retrieve your camera.

What it not pictured here, that I am adding my own image of in the Amazon product images, is a woven nylon strap affixed to the back of the case. It's short, just suitable for wearing around a belt, or attaching to another bag. It's strong, wide and has stout metal snaps for closure. I was very pleased to see this, since I bought this case so I could attach it to other items, to hold my camera. I feel better about having my camcorder strapped on to something, rather than just dangling from a clip. However, like I mentioned before, the clip is sturdy, so it's more of a piece of mind issue for me to use the nylon strap.

It's a great little case. It's not super hard, so don't plan on it protecting your camera from someone standing or jumping up and down on it. But it's definitely cushioned enough that your device would be protected from damage in a fall, being tossed around, squished inside a bag of stuff, etc. while inside of it.

The case itself is OK for a Sony DSC-HX9V, and it is pretty cheap so I'll be keeping it, but I'm disappointed in the battery/memory card storage.

There are three pockets. One is large enough for two Sony NP-FG1 batteries, in or out of their plastic storage cases (I'm a fan of plastic storage cases - they keep things clean, provide a little physical protection, and weigh practically nothing). BUT - I won't be using this pocket, because with either one or two batteries, in or out of their plastic storage cases, zipping the case shut is a recipe for disaster. It is simply too tight, and the excessive pressure is being directly applied either against the camera's LCD screen, or against its lens.

Not worth the risk - in my opinion.

As for the two smaller pockets, they will only fit SD cards without their plastic storage cases. Once again the pressure (far less of it) is against the lens, although this time I fear more for the SD card(s). [Of course the battery pocket could be used for two SD cards in their plastic cases, but this re-creates problem #1.]

Bottom line - I'll keep the case, but also my little SanDisc case that adequately stores my two extra batteries (without their plastic cases) and two extra SD cards (in their plastic cases). And my life will remain cluttered ...

I bought this for my Cybershot RX-100, but it's a good thing I also purchased the more expensive jacket case. The descriptions said it should fit the RX-100, but if it could, it would be really, really tight and you'd fight it all the time. I didn't return it though, because it fits accessories for the RX-100 quite well, including extra batteries, cards and an aftermarket wall charger. It's reasonably well made, but nothing to really write home about.

The Sony LCS-CSW camera case is actually smaller than stated in its description. And it is too small for the Sony Cybershot DSC-HX7V or HX9V cameras, in my opinion. Other reviewers thought it was OK, however. Perhaps it depends on how much pushing and pulling you're willing to tolerate to get the camera in and out of the case.

The external dimensions of the case are about 5.0" high by 3.3" wide. The depth tapers from about 1.9" at the bottom to only 1.0" at the top. If you have a compact camera with a raised grip, like the Sony HX7V or 9V, the natural way to insert the camera into the case is to hold it by the grip and push it down into the case. Then pull it out using the grip or the wrist strap. If you do this, however, the zipper won't close across the top of the case because the grip is too thick. If you push the camera in with the grip down, the case will zip shut across the thin end of the camera, but pulling the camera out is difficult, especially if the grip is rubberized (like the HX7V & 9V). Also, unless your camera is very thin, the interior pockets are too small for a spare battery.

Fortunately, Amazon has a generous return policy. Just select "not as described" as the reason for return, and they provde a pre-paid UPS shipping label.

Aside from the fit problem, the case seems to be well made and the material and zipper provide good protection from water and dirt. There's hardly any padding to protect the camera, however. So I gave it 3 stars, more a reflection of the inaccurate description than the quality of the case itself.
