a very pretty case and well made but it is an extremely tight fight for the Sony dsc-hx9v due to the size, I cannot recommend this case for the camera

I just received the LCS-HF leather camera case. It is a stylish looking case and nicely fits my Sony DSC-HX5V digital camera. The box says that it also fits the DSC-H55 and DSC-W370.

The metal mirrored Sony logo on the front matches the mirrored top and sides of the HX5V. It features a sewn-on belt loop, an interior padded layer in the back to protect the LCD screen, and a memory card pocket inside in the front of the case that perfectly fits a SD card.

It does make your camera seem more bulky, but otherwise I think it's a great case, and I recommend it to protect your investment. My only gripe is that the SonyStyle site says it features a Magnetic Closure and the instructions that come with the case say that it has a Magnetic Snap. However, mine is not magnetic, and came with a single snap button closure (see uploaded photo). I would have preferred a button-less magnetic closure.

This is a high quality case that looks beautiful as well. It has a belt loop, which is also sturdy. You have to slide it on and off your belt, but that makes it less likely to fall off.

My DSC-HX5V fits perfectly into this case, and snaps closed without worry.

I would recommend this for carrying your camera around in style (and safely), especially for a night on the town. You may want a different case if you go hiking and need more cushion in case you fall or expect to get wet.
