4.0 out of 5 stars Sony headphones. Great sound
Bought these off an Amazon vendor. Great sound. Cheap. Paid 5 bucks plus another 5 for shipping. Lightweight headphones with excellent sound. Beats paying 30 for Apple headphones

3.0 out of 5 stars Good Short Life Ear Phones
I purchased these headphones at a store for close to 10 dollars. I liked the color and it appeared to look like the apple ipod headphones I was replacing. As far as the sound quality goes I would say it was okay but I had to turn up the bass booster on my ipod for some songs to make them sound good. They felt comfortable in the ear and didn't fall or slip out easily...

4.0 out of 5 stars Ear buds you can fall asleep with, May 14, 2010

I often fall asleep wearing ear buds. More often I'm listening to voice versus music. Most buds get destroyed quickly if you roll around on them like this, but these have proved durable. They do not last forever, but I think that is to be expected with this type of use. They also have the benefit of being inexpensive to replace every 2-3 years. Some ear buds are horribly uncomfortable if you roll on them. These are not. Please make sure you read this review in the particular context in which I use these ear buds.

I purchased these headphones at a store for close to 10 dollars. I liked the color and it appeared to look like the apple ipod headphones I was replacing. As far as the sound quality goes I would say it was okay but I had to turn up the bass booster on my ipod for some songs to make them sound good. They felt comfortable in the ear and didn't fall or slip out easily during activities.

In the end they only lasted for a couple of months. The glue that kept the ear cover, which sits in your ear, started to lose its stick, so those ear cover would pop off the ear phones when I wasn't using them, although I was lucky enough to never actually lose them. Overall they are pretty good for the price, and cute, but because of the covers falling off so quickly, gave it too short of a life and I didn't purchase them again and instead went for the in-ear canal headphones by Sony.

As a side note I only use my headphones for the car pool to work and never on the weekends, and rarely at work, so as far as the wear and tear of the ear plugs by me might have been a factor but it couldn't have been a very big factor.

It seems a lot of people here have mixed feelings about these ear phones. I have never experiences any shocks or sound cutting out and if the ear covers hadn't fallen off I would still be using them. I do recommended these but I think it depends on the wearer. If you want something cute, to match your ipod or mp3 player and don't care about having extremely good quality, buy these, otherwise you might want to fork over 10 more dollars for something a bit more high quality.

Ok, so there are earbuds with better bass - I splurged and spent $14 on the Sony PIIQ Exhales - but these Sonys have great clarity and an airy sound like open-air headphones that is really enjoyable and adds presence to recordings. Forget wedging something in your ear canal, these are excellent for the price. Much better than JVC Gumys.

5.0 out of 5 stars SURVIVED THE WASHER!!!!, October 19, 2010
By
This review is from: Sony MDR-E10LP/Pblu Headphones - Fashion Earbuds (Blue) (Electronics)
I had these headphones so long I don't remember the exact point at which I purchased them, but it was definitely a while ago. They survived, at the very least, a semester of college use, plenty of miles of running, countless nights of me falling asleep with them on, and after well-over a year and a half of DAILY use, a full cycle through the washing machine. I found them in my wet clothes before throwing the load in the dryer and was rather pissed at myself for letting that happen because of course I thought they wouldn't work, they were the best earbuds I ever had, and while living in the middle of a small Irish town it would cost me a fortune to take a bus to the city just to buy other - probably not as good - headphones, for a lot more Euro.

But somehow they sounded good as new. They lasted at least six months after this, until I blew them out (as is usually the case for me) by blasting my music far too loudly.

I don't have these now. Just about a month ago when they finally died I bought "Koss KEB7CLR Portable Earbuds" because I was desperate and couldn't find the Sony ones in the mall. I'm using them right now, and glaring at the exposed wire poking out by the plug. Clearly, they cannot handle the wear-and-tear that the Sony ones can. Not even close. This is why I felt compelled to write this review, as i sit here listening to my left earbud cut in and out.

I'm ordering some new Sony ones now, which I'm counting on lasting at least a year, maybe two. SO WORTH THE PRICE.

I use these in my mp3 player while running. They don't slip out of your ears, even when sweating like crazy. Excellent value for the ridiculously low price I paid. My first pair lasted about 2 years so I bought the same ones again! I may grab another pair at this price so I have a back-up just in case. I highly recommend these buds.

Amazing product... usually earphones around this price only last a couple months, these earphones have lasted me well over a year. Ever since i had a bad experience with some $100 Bose earphones (only lasted 2 months) Ive been very careful at selecting earphones that have good sound quality and last long, after all I tend to abuse my earphones quite a lot. Sound quality is better than any $10 $20 maybe even $50 earphones. Thank You Sony!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sony Headphones Are The Best Around, July 7, 2009
This review is from: Sony MDR-E10LP/Pblu Headphones - Fashion Earbuds (Blue) (Electronics)
I love Sony headphones, especially these ones. I have been using Sony products for about 10 years now, and they never disappointed me. I like that they fit right into my ears, and has great sound quality. With my total experience with any Sony ear bud headphones is that they last along time. I only buy Sony headphones, because most of the other brands don't last as long, or doesn't have great sound quality, or they don't fit in your ears right. I also like the different colors they have. They also come with ear pads. Sony is a true brand that has never disappointed me. These Sony headphones are worth the money, and your time.
