These headphones were awesome when I first bought them. Great bass, good high's and low's. I used them all the time, and then about 4 weeks in, the left earbud's bass went down, then another week and the overall audio was really low. I was very dissapointed because these are Sony brand earbuds and Sony is a great company.

3 Stars because they were impressive until they sucked.

<UPDATE>
I poked a hole in the thin fiber piece covering the hole for the audio and the sound got louder. So I guess earwax was covering the hole??
These headphones are really amazing and are a great price.

5 Stars because they are Awesome.

wow,with the high reviews on this i decided to buy it for my active use at the gym and skatepark .. These little guys SUCK! ..sorry but i have just plain normal ears and these in-ear headphones keep slipping out like nothing while i'm working out or basically doing anything active pretty much.. i've used all the different sizees of buds it came with and they still fall out easily..i don't have smallk ears or anything so i don't know wtf is up..the ones with the little clip are FAR better and worth it ,but these are horrible through my personal experience.. But to each their own. :)

When this item was 6 bucks, it was worth the price. Not going to complain now when i bought it earlier.

Quality of the build: Excellent. No etches or loose parts. Fits great in your ear. Comes with replacement sizes for your ear. I really like the green-yellowish colors and the fact that the 3.5mm jack has a hard backing for easy pushing in and pulling out without damaging the internal cables.

Quality of audio: OK. It's decent for the price, but it could always be better. Sometimes it's hard to decipher the sounds coming out of the earphones.

Bought them because I like those style wise,they didn't stay in well unless you pushed in on them hard and the background noise reduction was a bit off,everything echoed, even the music. but the are cool looking

I gave these as gifts to a lot of people and everybody loved them. The sound is great (although I'm not an audiophile). Its good, loud and clear. I can still hear outside sounds but its really faint. I prefer it this way though. Loud enough so I can enjoy the sound, but I can still hear my phone ring or someone calling out to me. The lenght is perfect. Its not too long that it will get tangled. But long enough for an mp3 player to put in you pocket or arm.

One thing that's a little inconvenient is that when you shake the cord or tap the cord you can hear the movement through the earbuds. Only the part that separates into two are affected by this. It happens to other earphones too. I would have preferred a clip to stick to your shirt so that the cord doesn't move around as much.

Another thing that's interesting (not necessarily bad), is that there is no protection for the wire that connects directly to the earbuds part. They're easy enough to remove so you probably don't need that protection. But most earbuds do have that extra protection.
