5.0 out of 5 stars Daniel - minidisc, August 29, 2011

It is ashame that a perfect replacement for the casstes tape is not being manufactured. MP3s are hollow sounding compared to the minidisc. MP3s also require a computer. Tascam still makes a player. It is excellent. I don't trust sony anymore for dropping the product.

Great delivery-I know these'r dinosaurs, but I've stored A LOT of music on them, and the sound quality still rival DATs', MP3s now rule, but my mini-disc is still a nice backup.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just glad this is being sold online, June 22, 2011

Because none of the brick and mortar stores are selling these. Sadder even that most of the sales representatives don't even know what minidisc are. Works as advertised and plays on my Sony MD MZ-N707.

5.0 out of 5 stars Long Live MiniDiscs, May 6, 2011

I hate to see the MiniDisc format become obsolete. It's a very stable, reliable method for recording and archiving. I'm very disappointed with the new flaky digital recorders. I've had too much trouble with them and still use my MiniDisc for a backup.
