Expensive BUT... December 2, 2011

Expensive unless your device REQUIRES OEM branded memory, (my older Sony digital camera would not unlock 30fps on the video unless i used oem branded memory)

I purchased 2 of these for my Dsc-TX9 & dsc-hx1. Works great however i was annoyed I had to spend so much so i decided for my dsc-tx5, i would go with the Lexar brand. It works but i can tell you there is a speed different in transferring from the camera as well as I noticed i have a harder time taking panorama's on the dsc-tx5 vs the other two cameras. (if you are familiar with the process, you have to click and pan left or right, up or down. when completed the images are very jittery on the dsc-tx5 vs dsc-tx9. So YES i did swap out the stick with the OEM brand and i had a "lesser" issue, but it was still there...)

SanDisk makes a 32gb stick at around $30-40 cheaper, hopefully it wont have the slowness like the Lexar one does.

On a side note, my Dsc-tx9 and dsc-tx5 do support sd sticks and i would have went to them, but the dsc-hx1 doesn't and i like having the ability (if ever needed while out) to swap between the sticks of memory if the situation calls for it.

All I can say is that it is the real deal; genuine, magicgate supported. It can be used on the PSP, cameras, etc if your devices support memory stick pro duo, then this will definitely work to your liking. Perfect in every aspect. One thing to note is that it's made in Korea; not Japan, but in my opinion, that doesn't really matter; if it's made from Sony, then it's made from Sony; probably Sony factories in Korea, I'm sure the workers there know what they are doing..and the memory sticks are still real of course. Now I have a tons of memory stick space! Lastly, it's a great deal too.
