I've used this memory card on my Sony A55 for a couple of months now and it's been great. I shoot 10 pics in burst mode and it's ready for another burst almost instantly. Very satisfied.

Amazon Verified Purchase
I purchased this to use with my new Sony NEX-5 camera. This is the media card Sony recommends - not because it's made by them but rather a Class 10 SD card. It's very fast and with 32GB I can store more than 5,000 photos with my 14.2 megapixel camera.

When I purchased my new Sony SLT-A77 camera from Amazon, they didn't have this memory card in stock, and I had to buy it locally. I always went for SanDisk Extreme series, but this Sony Class 10 SD Card was listed in the manual as the recommended memory alongside Sony MemoryStick HG series, and I gave it a shot. The built quality is as nice as SanDisk, but the speed is not sufficient for A77. Sony A77 pictures are huge, and each picture takes a few seconds to be written to the memory. As a matter of fact, even SanDisk Extreme has not sufficient speed for A77, and people have reported the best of success with the new SanDisk UHS-I series with this camera.
While Class 10 SD cards speed can go up to 20MB/sec, they are only approved for 10MB/sec sustained read and write speed. The new UHS-I cards, however, have 95Mb/sec transfer speed. If I want to do it all over again, I'll go directly to SanDisk UHS-I and recommend you to do the same: SanDisk Extreme Pro, SDHC, UHS-1 Flash Memory Card 619659070977. You will get much faster read and write speed, and the 12fps buffer will be written in 6-8 seconds; conversely, my memory takes about 20 seconds. This Sony Class 10 SD card is a nice memory card but is not enough for Sony A77 camera.
