Who knows how to solve the C:13:01 error ?,

This review is from: Sony 128 MB Memory Stick Media (MSH-128) (Retail Package) (Personal Computers)
I bought the Sony 128 MB Memory Stick (MSH-128) a few months ago, but I only used it once. When I was in my 20th picture, an error appeared in the screen of my Sony P100 camera:
Error C:13:01, Memory Stick failed First, I went to Sony Service Center, but they didn't know what was happening. Then, I went to different Sony Stores, but the only answer they gave me was that my Memory Stick is failed, that it's impossible to fix or format it and, the worst, there is no way to save the pictures !!!! Finally, I tried to solved it by myself, and I "google" the C:13:01 error. If you do it, you will find hundreds of people with the same problem, looking for a solution. That's why I don't recommend this product. If all of us have the same problem, you can be the next.

I had this memory stick for less than a month when it all of a sudden dumped all my photos while offering the C:13:01 Memory Stick error prompt. After much research I found that there were no solutions, so now the stick is dead and all of my important photos are lost to the wind.

This review is from: Sony 128 MB Memory Stick Media (MSH-128) (Retail Package) (Personal Computers)
My journey began when I purchased a SONY PDA (PEG-N760C)capable of handling additional memory, using a MS (Memory Stick). After hours of surfing, reading and two inquiries to SONY customer service to determine what maximum size would work, I purchased a 2Gb MS from Amazon, assured that it would work well. Wrong.
Because of the limitations of the Palm OS (4.1), it did not work. Period. I then called a SONY retail store in Schaumburg,IL and was told that my unit would accept the MSH-128. Nothing larger.I returned the 2Gb MS to an Amazon supplier, and ordered the 128Mg MS from Amazon direct. No problems in return, no problems in receiving the replacement MS.The MS stick plugged in, the OS recognized the added memory, and I have an additional 128Mg of satisfaction! The MSH-128 works nicely in my SONY Clie, and I am now able to load additional data (pictures, music, programs) that I could not have done before. [I also have a SONY S-360 PDA that will accept this Memory Stick (MSH-128) as well.] No problems. This is the reason that members of our family use Amazon extensively for gifts, for Xmas and for personal purchases. Amazon, you make it easy. Thank you.
