First of all, any Sony product I've ever bought has worked flawlessly. This 1GB memory stick is no exception. It's quick and absolutely flawless.

This 1 gig memory stick is the fourth (4th) memory stick I've purchased, and I have to say, it is fantastic, and fast.

I use the 1 gig in my Sony H1 camera (mostly for video at 30 frames per second), as well as my older Sony DSC-P52. I am totally amazed at how fast it processes, and how fast it formats. Formatting is instantaneous.

I couldn't be happier with it, and I would strongly recommend this memory stick to the majority of shutterbugs. The 512 is just a bit too small, and the 2 gig is a little pricey, at least at this time.

As usual, Sony has come up with a great product. Just the fact that the Sony 1 GB Memory Stick Pro has so much memory is a great selling feature. It's nice to know that you don't have to worry about running out of room. It's easy to use and produces some really nice pictures.

Purchased this when I bought the camera. In a year's time I haven't used all the memory. Have over 400 pictures on it at present. Great purchase for the money. Is easy to install and remove from camera.

I bought this memory stick for my DSCH1 and it works great, its fast and easy. I bought mine for 51$ from my.sony.com (Sorry amazon -- You had it for $69 at that time) So I got great value, brand, size for my price.

I have a DSCW7 Sony Cyber Shot camera ..... which had initially only 32mb memory ..... only used to store 11 pictures ...... had to find some good n which fits my camera ..... found this stick ..... through which I can store up 285 pictures ..... can store even more if I use 5 megapixel mode in my camera .....

i have sony digital camera and with this memory stick pro i feel like i have camcorder , it's fast , eazy to set and i can record 45 minuts vedio with pertty good quality and over 300 digital photo , that is all what i need and also if u get the 2GB u can record over 1h 30m + 700 photo ...
so ,get it , it's sony and with that price it's the best ....

I have owned many Sony cameras in the past and am currently using two right now. The only problem I have encountered with any digital camera is that when you think you have enough memory, you run out when you need it most. That is why I upgraded all of my cameras from 256 and 512 meg memory sticks to the Sony 1 gig. Actually I carry a spare 1 gig too where ever I go.

Look, when you take video with your digital camera or you use a high file size (3-6 megapixels) per picture, which you should always do to get the best possible prints made, your camera will need a ton of storage space. Especially if you are on vacation or encounter a great photo moment or maybe even something you hadn't expected like a wildfire, a plane crash, a bank robbery or maybe even a cat in the park having kittens. You can always "resize" you photos to a smaller size later when you save then to your computer if you want to save space. Trust me, take large megapixel pics now and you will be amazed at how many shots came out better that you expected.

You never know. I have tons of pictures that people ask how did I ever get such good pictures of such amazing things. I have a helicopter crash, police car up a power poll, deer in downtown Oakland, house fire before the Fire Dept got there, tons of wild animals, any many more things I saw while I was driving somewhere or walking in a park. If you want great photos you have to be prepared when the moment arrives!

Matching a camera with its name brand memory is also a great idea. No problems ever!! The Sony memory sticks I have from 5 to 6 years ago still work great with no problems. They make it fast and easy to transfer data from your camera to your computer. They are tiny wafer thin and extremely light weight and durable. I have first hand knowledge that products with the SONY name on it are first rate and high quality. If you want quality buy SONY!

It does exactly like it is suppose. If your looking for a memory card with more space this is it, can hold up to 45 minute movie, or hundreds of pictures.
