This is a USB3 reader and it works very well with my new MacBook Pro.

This one works well, but is much more expensive than most good ones I have invested in.

Works fine fine when plugged into a USB 2.0 port but only at 2.0 speeds.

The first time I purchased this, the reader was DOA. I ordered a second one after speaking with Sony Broadcast tech support to make certain that the drivers were installed properly and found out that it should have worked in Windows 7 even if the drivers weren't installed, although not to it's full potential. The second reader worked perfectly, as did the third reader I ordered. I wish it was a combo CF/SDHC/XQD reader, but if you use XQD memory cards, this one works very well and has an aluminum case. One star subtracted for the DOA.

I have purchased and upgraded my card readers many times over the years, as the technology has evolved. This one works well, but is much more expensive than most good ones I have invested in. But, it's the only one that I'm aware of to support the XQD cards. Perhaps in time Lexar will produce one since they are now producing that kind of memory card.

No complaints. Works as advertized. Came in on time and works amazingly well. Both on PC and MAC (as expected).

Highly recommended. Then of course what would you expect from the company that makes the memory chips

This is a USB3 reader and it works very well with my new MacBook Pro. It is small and will travel well and I have found it to be very user friendly (no settup required).

Works exactly as you would expect. Memory card clicks in place just as it does in the Nikon d4.
Great product.

Very nice small form factor and very fast transfer speeds. I have really fallen in love with the XQD format.

Well made, good quality. It gets 4 stars instead of 5 because the only camera that currently accepts XQD cards (still) is the D4 which has duel XQD/CF slots, yet this just accepts XQD cards. This means you have to carry around two card readers. Perhaps Sony didn't know that when they designed this. Lexar has no excuse. A Thunderbolt or FireWire version would have been nice, but you can't have everything.

The Sony XQD Memory Card Reader came with a recent camera purchase as part of the package. The reader is a 3.0 USB reader and works as advertised. I highly recommend it.
