Item arrived quickly with good packaging. This is a great little item to have if you don't like taking the time to hook up cables to your PC to transfer photos from your camera. Plug this in to an available USB port on your PC and insert a Memory Stick - you are on your way. Happy with the purchase, recommended item.

The product works as specified. Makes it really easy to load images without having to hook up my camera and run down the batteries. Great value.

I've used the old style Sony memory stick reader in the past with excellent results. I bought a new Sony camera but the memory card wouldn't fit the old reader, so I purchased the new reader. It functions as advertised and the soft ware downloaded without a hitch. If you need a reader, you won't go wrong with this reader.

...except that it does its job adequately. I haven't had problems with this reader nor did I expect any. Admittedly, it's pricier than some and is only designed to read Sony Memory Sticks, but as long as it's fast enough and reliable enough, it's worth it. As an aside, it should match a white ipod or similar ipod-ish gadgets well, for those who care about such things.

I bought one of these after my Kodak reader messed up some of my video transfers from my new Sony DSC-W200. Unfortunately I had my software to delete the file on the card when download was complete. So far this has worked without any problems. It is a bit pricy when you compare it to others, but then it is a Sony!

This seems like a good solid memory stick pro, pro duo reader/writer usb adapter. I have not got to use it yet for what I bought it for. I got this because I plan on getting a stereo for my truck, I haven't found any that take the Sony memory sticks so I needed the usb adapter. I plan on mounting it under the dash for easy access. I got this one because it didn't plug directly into the usb slot, it has a cord and after looking at some stereo models I may end up getting one where the usb slot is in the rear of the stereo instead of the front. I could have waited till after I bought the stereo but I like planning ahead even though it doesn't always work out the way I envision it. I have a Playstation 3, the 60 gig backwards compatible model with the memory card slots. I use these slots alot and if it ever breaks down I noticed the new slim and other models no longer have the memory card slots. So, I may sometime in the future need this for that. I'm partial to Sony products, I'm happy with this purchase and if you need one would highly recommend it. The only thing that disappoints me is Sony themselves. Anything thats made by them that can have a memory card slot should, stereos, tv's, ps3. It would seem to me they would want to push their format as much as possible, not be taking it out of their products. perhaps thats why Betamax failed.
