"FALSE Advertisement" This vendor is a con artist! I ordered 3-pack DVC 60 min miniDV tapes (Blue), but they sent me DVM60PR3 (yellow), which comes in a 5-pack box. I should've checked the reviews before I placed my order. I see one other person who got cheated like me. Do not buy from this place!!

I ordered these Sony mini-dv cassettes from Adorama and received a similar product, but not the one that was shown in the advertisement. What I received was a cheaper version. Although it was Sony, it is a product produced oversees in France and comes in yellow/orange packaging. These are not the Sony blue packaged cassettes that are made in the USA for camcorders using N. America region technology. There are plenty of warnings I came across regarding quality of the orange/yellow tapes. The model # is slightly diferent too. When I called Adorama to resolve the issue, the phone would just ring and ring forever. Finally, when someone does answer they are extemely rude, condescending, and transfer you to another dept. that never answers the phone. Unfortunately, I am stuck w/ the tapes as I do not wish to pay additional shipping. However, I will never order again from Adorama and I hope that you are fortunate to avoid any transactions with them.

NOTE: These are not the blue cassettes pictured! They sent similar tapes in orange packaging. They say Sony on the package, but I called Sony and they didn't have the model # on record. After researching, I found them 2 be grey market tapes. I didn't want to damage my $600 camcorder.They did give me a refund. However, I paid for shipping both ways. My total was $23.33. I was only refunded $15.36.

I, too, was fooled into believing that I was ordering the blue package of Sony Premium miniDV 60PRL because that packaging was shown on the ordering page. I did not know that these tapes were the foreign version until I received them. I sent an e-mail to the vendor and never received a reply. I agree with another reviewer -- SHAME ON YOU, AMAZON. THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE ONE OF YOUR STORES UNLESS YOU FIND THEIR FALSE ADVERTISING ACCEPTABLE. I will never again purchase from one of your store fronts, and I am suspicious of YOUR acceptance of this business practice, which reflects poorly on your own company.

It's was exactly what I ordered: tape that stores DV movies. No more, no less. Sony never disappoints.

I ordered a specific Sony Mini-DV tape (three 3-packs of DVM60 read package), and Amazon showed the correct order including an image of the ordered tape so I could easily confirm my order. A few days later I get a pre-packaged box of five + four loose tapes of a different model. I emailed the company with the discrepancy, and they promptly replied with a canned response "We don't subsitute anything. We only sell U.S. Sony Direct DVM-60PRR
product. Please advise if you want this item picked up & we will satisfy you on the sale." I then sent screen shot of the order with the picture, and also of the received product as evidence of the incorrect shipment. I promptly got back the same message "We don't subsitute anything. We only sell U.S. Sony Direct DVM-60PRR product. Please advise if you want this item picked up & we will satisfy you on the sale." I film video of Varsity football for our high school, so the coaches can review it with the players and so college videos can be created from my footage. They like the results I've been delivering so the exact same product is important to me. My next game is this Friday, so I'm going to have to buy local, for a higher price, and just eat the cost of the incorrect shipment. The substitution was a problem, but denying it felt like a blow as if I was trying to pull a fast one on them somehow. Who knows... this could be a successor of the tape I ordered with exactly the same formulation, but I don't know that and can't discern that for myself, so I'm left frustrated. Bad experience.

Enougth for many Mini-DV Camecorder, but not for good quality 3Mpixel camecorders

Loads great, Records silently, Replays like a champ. Tried on SONY and seems like it is the best thing I did

Delivered as ordered and in a timely manner as promised. Great price!

I bought them for use with my Panasonic GS-65 camera. No issues so far, quality seems to be fine.
