I bought this item because of its price, but it is worthless, so I paid too much. The charger's prongs do not line up with the receptacles on the battery. After bending and almost breaking the prongs, I finally got it to charge once.

Now I'm ordering another one, probably a Sony.

P.S. - I own a Sony DSC-H55 which is listed on this chargers list.

The product is fantastic, the only thing is that the hole for the baterry is a little bit larger than the baterry itself, so you need to put something to push the baterry to enable the charging

Does the work charging the battery and it real cheap . down side a little bulky

Lost our charger on a recent trip so found this replacement which was very inexpensive. The battery goes in backwards, however, unlike the original Sony charger placement.

Simply put, this product does not work with the DSC-H55 even though it is listed as compatible.

Highly disappointed; will not buy from them again.

I ordered this charger because of it's incredibly low price, and it works just as it should! It may be a bit on the "cheesy" side as far as it looks very easy to break off the battery holding tab, but the real test is "does it work?". My experience buying the charger was a bit difficult, but the seller got everything right, and I finally got the product that I ordered. I would like to thank the seller's customer service department for taking care of me when I needed them to. One other thing, The charger just does not look like something Sony would deliver with a fairly high end (for it's time) camera. I doubt that this is really a Sony product, but rather a fine copy of a better designed unit. The best part of this charger is that it has an adapter to fit a 12 volt cigar lighter recepticle. I think that this could really come in handy. All in all, well worth what I paid for the charger.

It does it's job as expected but it last longer to charge than the original one I lost. Te other difference is you put the battery facing down to charge instead the original one facing up.

I have a Sony DSC-H50 digital camera. The original Sony brand battery charger and a second Sony brand replacement have malfunctioned. After the second Sony brand charger died, I tried this generic charger. It charges the battery a bit faster than the Sony charger. I used this charger on two separate batteries (one Sony brand, one generic but for the same camera), and they both fully charged. I'm happy with it! There is one trick though: you must insert the battery with the back facing out (towards you) in order for the battery and charging prongs to line up. It is odd, but it works perfectly for me without having to jiggle the battery or add any spacer material (as other reviewers had to do).

Great price, brand new, the wall charger works, and it comes with an adapter for the car. All good in my eyes.
