This battery has good stamina. I use it with my DCR-HC42 camcorder and it lasts upto 2 hours of non-continuous shooting. By the term "non-continuous" shooting I mean the way we use it regularly. For example if you go on a sight seeing trip, you will turn the camcorder on and off regularly to capture good moments. For such use it lasts upto 2 hours which is quite good. You can carry just 2 of these batteries and it will last you for a days sight-seeing trip.

These are lithium-ion batteries without memory effect. So you can charge them whenever possible instead of waiting for them to drain down.

Overall I am very pleased with these batteries and would definitely recommend them

Better capacity than the stock battery without noticeable increase in size and weight. Better value than brick and motar stores.

Its a great battery, it is an exact match of the one that came with the original purchase of my handycam. It holds a great charge!

I Can't believe I found this. My husband records all of my kids basketball games and his old battery was dieing. The new battery gives him 120 miutes of recording. It was a great stocking stuffer

I had ordered a battery from another retailer. That battery came in the original packaging and would not hold a charge. I ordered from this store. The battery was just in an envelope, so I was nervous that I would have the same result as the previous order. I have tested this battery, and I am very happy to say that it holds a charge for over two hours and my problem is solved. Thank you.

I was unsure if purchasing this item was a good idea, it was a used battery after all, but I'm glad I took the chance. I was able to save somewhere around $15-20.00 and I have no complaints. I charged the battery one time when we received it and have used it sporadically since then and it still has plenty of life left.

Instead of the battery, I received a whole package including a sony camera case, 3 compact DVD and the battery itself.
Everything delivered according to the schedule.

We needed a Sony NPFP50 P Camcorder Battery FAST to record my daughter's school play...we found it locally at twice the price online - haven't bought electronics or batteries online...went for it. The vendor was AWESOME - had the battery in just TWO days (a very tight window before the play) - the vendor responded quickly (and over a weekend!) to our request and we had the battery in time to confirm the charge and most importantly RECORD the play :) for the teacher and class. REALLY appreciated the GREAT service - and a seemingly flawless product. It's great to now have a backup battery. Would definitely recommend the vendor and product. Thanks!

Initially I was scared as the product did not come in the actual sony package. However, I have been using this and works excellent.
