I purchased this stylus to replace the stylus from my Sony VAIO UX280P (Sony's discontinued UMPC), as I was unable to find the replacement stylus anywhere. This stylus appears to be identical to the UX280P stylus (even though it is not explicitly stated in the item description) and fits perfectly in the stylus slot on the back of the computer. I would strongly recommend this stylus to anyone who has managed to lose the original stylus to any of the VAIO UX series computers. I would give this five stars, but I feel that >20 USD for two styli is excessive.

As some reviews complained that the stylus was to small and did not stay extended I find it acceptable. The two units I purchased stayed extended and the pen worked. The stylus tip shows that it should unscrew to reset some palms but this does not seem to work on the ones I received. Since my NX73V has the reset on the side the tip will fit just fine. Note they are made in China and by no means as good a quality as the original from Sony but they will work and there are not to many places to get the extendable stylus to fit into original product slot.

Perfect, it was just what I ordered, and the item was comparable in price and it showed up at the house in 3 days. Thank you.

Too tiny to hold and ergonomically a failure. My advice is go and get a bigger replacement stylus than these.

They are tiny so if you have big hands these are not for you. I have one that does not stay extended so I wonder about the locking mechanism.

I ended up getting a nice stylus/pen.

They are good for when I forget to bring my stylus!

I wonder why the List Price says $12.99 and the "New Reduced Price" is $28.99. Seems like an awful lot for 2 little stylus!
