Beware! This adapter was for a European plug, not American. Totally worthless here in the States. Was also advertised as a Sony and was not. I won't be ordering through them again.

I needed a replacement AC cord for my Playstation 2. This item does not plug into a standard United States power outlet. It must be for another country. The correct cords are available for purchase at Gamestop video game stores for about the same price. Save yourself the hassle and buy it there.

No issues with this product. The first time it was sent to me something was wrong with the internal components but the vendor that I got it from took care of the matter with the assistance of Amazon and I got a replacement right away. I even got my money back that I paid to return the broken item. No problems now though. Works well!
