Beware! This adapter was for a European plug, not American. Totally worthless here in the States. Was also advertised as a Sony and was not. I won't be ordering through them again.

I needed a replacement AC cord for my Playstation 2. This item does not plug into a standard United States power outlet. It must be for another country. The correct cords are available for purchase at Gamestop video game stores for about the same price. Save yourself the hassle and buy it there.

No issues with this product. The first time it was sent to me something was wrong with the internal components but the vendor that I got it from took care of the matter with the assistance of Amazon and I got a replacement right away. I even got my money back that I paid to return the broken item. No problems now though. Works well!

its works like it should, lol got it because i got a ps2 slim from goodwill and 5 buck, so got this and its all good and works

After 4 1/2 years, the AC adapter that came with my PS2 slim finally died out (a shortage in the main cord right at the box-shape part). This is great replacement. It's the same brand (Sony) as the one that comes with the PS2 but somewhat smaller. You won't be disappointed with this purchase.

The product was the wrong model, but that was my fault. It shipped fast and they were going to accept a return and I was going to, but although it did not work on my slim PS2 I decided to keep just in case I run into an original PS2 some day. The only thing I wish I had known before I bought was if it was going to work on my ps2 (originally I thought all adapters were the same). The service was splendid and I recommend this seller to other buyers.
