Play it in the car. If you have one of those LCD screens that everyone has an opinion on which is best and need a car adapter this is an excellent way to kill time in the car. If you get a good travel case with it you can even strap a PS ONE and 5" LCD screen to the back of a seat (hey who is making you sit in the back!?) so you can focus your attention on gameplay with your controller. Although the price isn't in the comfortable range, if you need one and want to go mobile it should definitely keep your PS ONE useful for a few more?.... (days?months?years? you decide)

OK, let me get this straight. YES, it does work for the PS2 becuase the PS1 and PS2 have the same outlet type and same electricy quantity. So, if you have a LCD screen or tv in your car, this is a must.

Purchased a PSone console about 8 years ago for $50 from amazon. However the car charger too was priced close to $50, which did not make sense. Then three years ago it was available $25 at KMART but postponed the purchase since it was not essential at that time. Finally, did not want the opportunity to pass by when the brand new unit was priced at $10. This price break came at a golden moment when our oldest child is about to turn four. This will come handy to keep the two boys occupied in the car. The PSone we have also has its own portable screen that attaches to the console.
