This review is from: Sony PSP 5 Pc Analog Thumb Stick Replacement Armor Kit! (Video Game)
I brought this replacement kit because the original thumb stick is too stressful for my thumb. It was too small and low. The replacement kit I received was made by a company called "Sumoto." The thumb sticks are very easy to replace, and won't scratch the PSP's screen. All 5 sticks are different in term of size and shape. I like the one that look like a mushroom the best. It is the middle one in the picture.

I bought this product while in Dubai on a deployment and it worked great...at first. While it was much more comfortable to play with the original PSP is unfortunately not made for a raised joystick. I had to replace the concealed joystick assembly twice within a month of purchasing this product and my two buddies had to replace theirs once each. The stock PSP joystick is flush with the system to prevent too much pressure being applied to the underlying flimsy assembly, the raised joystick enables too much pressure to be applied. While this is a great innovative product that makes the PSP more comfortable to play the PSP system is just not made well enough to handle it.

I am as excited about the analog replacements as I am disappointed. The wonderfully designed shapes enhance gaming and use of the analog stick but reduce the functionality of the D-Pad. The larger thumb sticks make reaching and using the D-Pad a bit awkward to reach and switch back and forth from analog to digital. They are a great concept but poor design!
