This review is from: Sony PSP Data & Power USB Cable (Electronics)
When I first received this product, it worked exactly like it's supposed to. The battery charged on my PSP with no problems, and I was able to transfer data with the other attachment. Now, however, I have to wiggle the cord until it's just right for it to charge, and after that I have to leave both it and the PSP alone. Otherwise, the battery stops charging. Oddly enough, the data part of the cable still works fine, so essentially I got a data cord for my PSP.

It's OK but it doesn't replace a wall charger.,
Useful if you're around computers a lot and want a quick way to charge your PSP without going into USB mode. However, it has some limitations. Normal USB cables can only charge the PSP when in USB mode, which requires you to fully quit out of a game. Wall Chargers allow you to charge the PSP's battery while playing a game, and the PSP will directly draw power from the charger, saving your battery. This USB charger can only charge while the system is powered down, it can not charge while you're playing the game, and you can not use it as a direct power source. This is better than normal USB cables because it means you don't have to save and quit out of a game, but it's still less than optimal.
