The Sony D-EJ626CK comes with car accessories that permit versatile in-vehicle use with no need to obtain additional components. Its second generation skip-free function comes with improved mechanism for more protection against vertical shock, and a greatly advanced digital-based system for more than 10-times-faster shock recovery compared to conventional systems, providing perfect playing performance without skipping even during such active uses as jogging. The device plays CD-R and CD-RW disks including your own compilations from a CD recorder deck or a PC. The black and red color combination of the Sony D-EJ626CK makes a striking appearance, provides great differentiation and exemplifies natural CD player styling. The D-EJ626CK is the only player that allows up to 36 hours of continuous playback as a result of advanced Sony engineering, a new IC chip set and a new mechanism.

Look Ma no skip!!!!,

I have owned this product for 4 months. I wonder how I ever got along without it. This is the first time the advertising was true. I live in a very rural area,the land of cattle trails. I plug this into my car and no matter how bummpy the road gets the music will not skip. I have tried :-). This product has been attacked by a 4 year old,dropped, kicked and generally abused. It still keeps going! The best feature is the g-shock and when engaged it will not skip. The sound is incredible. The batteries last for 36 hours of contunious music and will charge the batteries from the car cig plug in or the a/c outlet if you have rechargable batteries. My only beef with it is that the recharger on the unit could be better as it does not charge the batteries all the way. In all I would buy this product again.

i've had this for over a week and it is awesome! it's g-protection system never skips, i've tried everything to make it skip but it's just impossible! the headset sounds excellent but not so good looking... but for a price like this it's excellent. the car adaptor sounds great, very handy for use in a car.i would recommend this buy for anyone out there looking for a good cd player. two thumbs up!

This CD player is without a doubt one of the best you can buy for the money. It sounds great, and is small and compact. It has all the functions you would expect from a CD player, Hold, Repeat, Shuffel, and program. Its G-protection makes it very hard to skip, even with it off you have to shake it for awhile to skip. It has a respectiable 36 hour long Battery life, and has the capability to charge batterys. It cames with a little writs strap and every thing. The Bass function is great and smooth. The music does get slightly distroted and the highest volume level but just barely and only a crazy person would listen to it all the wayup because its REALLY loud. The headphones that comes with it are pretty cheap but thats how they always come. Over all its a great buy, it has good sound, its small, plays CD-R/RW, 36 hour battery life. And that hard to beat SONY quality
