This is the best I've ever heard my music played! I recently bought this item with money I had recieved for Christmas and decided to buy this item. While it may be considered primative in its features, it makes up for with its sleek design and amazing sound quality. While amazing is a word often overused, do not get me wrong, it is BETTER than amazing, more like UH-MAH-ZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot emphasise enough how well this player can play your music. Even playing it at full volume there's no sound distortion. The remote is cool because you can use it for basic features, pause, play etc., but you can also use it to select your music and look through playlists. There is also an Audio IN jack in the back. Overall this sound-dock is great.

I just bought the new Ipod 4th gen and at first I thought it didnt work becase my daughters 3G slide right onto the dock and my new 4G didnt seem to want to fit. I was afraid of pushing it too hard and damaging the new Ipod. After a reviewer told me that he got it to work, I fiddled with it some more giving it more force and PRESTO, it does! This Sony dock sounds wonderful. I love its simple design and fits my needs perfectly. Super high volume isnt so great, but for everyday use, it's excellent. I'm really happy with the purchase. This is the first review I've ever written. I have used this Sony Speaker Dock daily since I bought it and just love the performance.
The music sounds full and clear even at higher volumes (listen to rock, hip hop, jazz all the way to classical) and it just works
flawlessly with my Ipod and the Sony remote.
I made myself a promise a while ago only to buy things I will actually use and this product puts the exclamation mark on
living up to it!

Excellent product! I use it for indoors and outdoors and it work perfectly.... Great sound quality (volume & bass) .... and I think what it makes it better is the price versus the Bose, $155 less.

This item is shockingly outstanding for the money. I was going to purchase a Bose and after seeing this item on Amazon and reading the reviews I chose to 'try it out".....and I can honestly say....OUTSTANDING! I highly recommend this to anyone who is in the market for an Ipod touch stereo. I have the 4th generation Ipod and it hooks up just as easily as my son's 3rd generation Ipod touch. Plays with incredible sound...better than my headset to be honest. I love it!

This was my first speaker purchase for my ipod so I don't have much to compare with but I have waited quite a while to purchase a speaker dock for my ipod because I just didn't come across anything that had good reviews without costing a LOT of $$.
This particular speaker had a lot of positive reviews and decent cost so I went for it. I have been more than happy with it. In fact I feel it is good enough quality sound that I don't even have a regular stereo system anymore.
In short; looks nice, good sound, fair price.

Looked at Bose but too expensive for my needs.

I ordered this upon reading reviews. I love it! Sounds wonderful and it is soo easy to use. I am surprised on the quality of sound that comes from such a small package. I live in a small duplex and this rocks out my entire house!!! I would recommend this ipod dock to friends!

I bought this product for my husband's birthday. The shipping was extremely fast, and it arrived several days before its estimated arrival. The sound quality is incredible. The bass fills the entire first floor of our house. You can control your iPod/iPhone while it is on the dock using the remote control. The speaker is too large to pack and carry if you are looking for a portable player. Since we keep ours out on an end table in our living room, it works perfectly for us. I highly recommend this product!

After a great deal of research for iPod speakers, I took the leap and purchased this Sony product. I chose wisely. The speakers perform beautifully. The sound is large and balanced. It is also easy to operate and allows me to charge my iPod while in the docking station. I would highly recommend this speaker to anyone who does not want to spend a fortune, but also yearns for BOSE quality sound.
