Bought as a spare battery for my daughter's digital camera. It works like a charm, so I have no complaints. Fast shipping.

I've always had long reliable life with Sony brand batteries. This one is no exception. Use as spare for a Webbie. Battery lasts about as long as filling up an 8gb card with minimal playback and no stills.

Sony has a large amount of proprietary parts and this can make their components very expensive. I was pleased to find an exception with this battery and it was very affordable. To date, we have had good performance from this battery.

I've bought three of these batteries - one that came with the camera and two additional. A year later, only one of them still works (no unusual treatment or heavy use). Sony will only replace a defective battery if I ship the whole camera back to them for warranty service and they determine that it's the battery not working. (Which is a pretty obvious conclusion when a different battery makes the camera work fine) Even the one that still works has a pretty short life, which is a drag when you have no spare (though not for lack of trying/buying).

I'm so done with Sony after this camera.

This is the OEM battery so it's the same kind that came with my Sony camera. Battery life is great, I was able to use it all day. Charges quickly. I purchased this one so I could have two batteries while I was out taking pictures in Europe. I got it a great price, so I am thrilled with my purchase.

I purchased this battery in April and now after three months of usage, this battery is getting on my nerves. Allows me to click not more than 50 photos on 7.2p

The battery that I got with camera is still better than this one. Which clicks around 90-100 photos.

I strongly recommend not buying this battery.

I needed a backup battery for my camera and could not purchase it locally. Thank goodness for Amazon. I got the battery I needed quickly and cheaper than expected.

I bought this for a friend and it works perfectly fine with his DSC-W180. It should work with any Cybershot listed in the product information.
