This is by far the best headband radio I have ever owned! The sound is far superior to others that I have tried. The additional headband adds so much stability that you can do yard work or exercising and not worry about the radio falling off! For the money, you can't beat it!

I brought this to workout in a gym. It wasn't the slickest style but sturdy and not bulky. It takes only one AAA battery which can last for a long time. For what I have paid for, the sound quality was better than expected.

For the price, this radio is awesome. Good reception and easy to use. It fits well which is very important. Definitely worth the buy.

After purchasing about 5 similar items over the years, all of which had shortcomings, I read the reviews on this item and decided to try it. This item beats many of Sony's similar, and more expensive, Walkmans. Lack of earphones and cords is a plus. I can even pick up AM radio in my office, which lighted by fluorescent tubes. My desk radio can't do that. I purchased this primarily to take to baseball games. I also take it when I walk my pooch and workout.

This headset radio replaces my 10 yr old Koss headset I have been wearing for my morning walk. The price was definately right and the comfort and fit of the headset is just fine. It's not fancy, but I only listen to one station when I'm excercising, so pre-sets aren't an issue.

The sound qulity is very good and I don't think I can come up with a complaint worth mentioning.

I would recommend this unit to anyone using a radio headset for similar purposes.

I bought this after reading the above Amazon reviews. It is indeed a fine unit; all the above is true. However, the FIRST time it fell from my neck onto a solid floor a speaker busted off and now hangs by wires.

Upon examination, I see that each headphone is secured only by a thin, flexible plastic joint. I'm going to try to stuff wires back in and superglue it back together, but I'd have prefered a much sturdier design!

I've used mine for years while doing yardwork and cleaning the horse pen. It's lived through being dropped, flung, left outside, used in sun and rain, getting sweaty and dirty. Decent sound, comfortable ear pads, secure during active use. It's finally time to get a new one, as the old one finally met its end when I left hanging on a fence post for weeks.

The reception is too lousy, period. Some stations have pretty good signals, but this walkman cannot receive them well at all.

This refurbished Sony headphone radio looks and works like new! I like the way that the controls are positioned and the reception is very good. As far as the comfort aspect goes, I feel that it is as comfortable to wear as could be expected from a headphone that doesn't cost a small fortune. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Great item. Speakers are loud. Only complaint is can't get AM very well.
