Outstanding
I purchased this receiver over a year ago and have been very pleased with it's performance. Sound quality is outstanding along with an extreme ease of setup. Recommended.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaghghghg
Okay, I've had this little "gem" for 2 years now, and I've yet to program it properly. I can't seem to get the speakers to an optimum level at any time. It is far too complex, and the remoted does not control the cd player.

(STR-DE885) I have bought many Sony products before, with one of the benefits being able to control them all with one remote. So it was a surprise to me when none of the Sony remotes could control this unit. If it does not make it easier, it goes back.
