Sony gets a 4 star rating on this product. It would have earned a 5 star if I thought the bargain was a little better. The product itself is a 5 star. The quality of the photos are excellent and using the 4 x 6 inch prints in the Sony printer allows you to do all sorts of editing and even getting multiple prints on a sheet to make awesome postcards. The price is still a little high, even though you are buying a value pack. If Sony could get the price down to 50 cents a print, then it would be a true value. If you take lots of digital photos and want to print them out, this is the way to go.

This is one of the worst cases of price gouging I've ever seen. $190 for a printer pack that normally was $35 - $40.

Note...SONY decided to discontinue supporting the DPP-EX50. Ultimately, the printer no longer has media available.

It is REALLY too bad that SONY discontinued this paper and ink. I have the printer and it still works great, but if I can't get the paper pack it is useless. I am sure that there are many people in this position. Great little work horse of a printer.. Really too bad.

Shame on you Sony! This was a great printer that cost me 40 cents per print back in the day -- expensive but worth the quality. Now the supplies are so highly priced prints cost about $3.00 each. I paid $160 for this printer. It's going in the trash and I'm getting a Canon Selphy CP900. Someone is making too much money on this and Sony is helping to fill our landfills. Fellow consumers unite and don't buy Sony products. Corporate shenanigans like this are disgraceful -- and perhaps illegal. (I recall reading you can't sell retail products in New York State (where I live) over the MSRP.) Thus depending on Sony's MSRP it may be the retailers at fault. Whomever is behind this, I hope some watch dog reads this and calls you on this one. Consumers, your power is the power not to consume. Help send a message.

I can't believe Sony no longer makes the paper and print cartridge and I for one will not pay $199.00 for one value pack when I use to pay $101.00 for 3 value boxes.

This product produces high quality, true-to-life color photos. It is very convenient to load the ink cartridge and paper into your printer and it only takes about a minute or so per print. The convenience can't be beat (versus taking the time to bring your memory card/stick or emailing the digital images you want to be developed to an outide processor. Keep in mind that while the Sony SVM-75LS Ink and Paper Value Pack represents a good value, it still is usually more expensive than using an outside vendor. If your interest is obtaining high quality prints in a fast, convenient manner at a good value than this product should definitely satisfy your need. Enjoy!

Sony SVM-75LS Ink and Paper Value Pack
I ordered four boxes and have used one. As has been the case in the past, the speed isn't great, but the quality is excellent--although I recently have experienced a few pictures with a small inexplicable blotch.

I love printing at home so I don't have to deal with what the Kodak or Fuji machines assume I meant to do, something that often leaves me with photos that are almost always clipped, too dark, too saturated, and too sharp. The printed Sony pictures at home are much closer to the images on my monitor but come at a price almost three times what I pay at Target or Wal-Mart.
