The glasses work just fine - maybe a bit tight, but they do fit over my regular glasses.

I would have given everything 5 stars and recommended buying all of it.

I recently bought a Sony Bravia KDL-55NX720 which is 3d capable but comes without glasses. The 3d factor was of interest to me and being a bit of an electronics geek. I had to get 3d glasses and check it out. Rather than getting just one type of 3D glasses I decided to get 3 different compatible glasses and check them out. The three glasses I got are:

Xpand X103
Sony TDG-BR250
PlayStation 3 3D Glasses

I wear rimless bifocal lenses that are 32 mm tall. For comfort I would rank the glasses as follows:

1. Sony TDG-BR250
3. PlayStation 3D glasses
3. Xpand X103

All of the glasses worked over my prescription glasses but I found the Sony TDG-BR250 to fit over my glasses best and to be the most comfortable. I found the Xpand X103 the least comfortable though they are OK and I don't really have an issue sitting through a movie. Based on other reviews, the comfort level varies quite a lot from viewer to viewer. Both the PlayStation glasses and the Xpand were a little more awkward to get adjusted over the glasses. So for me, that was probably the biggest comfort factor. None of the nose pieces that came with the Xpand gave me a great fit. The PlayStation glasses had an adjustable nose piece that worked better for me.

For 3d performance I would rank them in the following order:
1. PlayStation 3D glasses
2. Xpand X103
3. Sony TDG-BR250

The PlayStation 3D and the Sony TDG-BR250 resulted is similar colors and brightness. I think I got the most flickering with the BR250s but hard to say on that count, none were bad. The TDG-BR250 looked good as long as you kept your head level, if you tilted it even slightly to the left or right, the picture got lighter and there was abundant crosstalk.

I've been using these 3D glasses for around month and they really are wonderful. Charging via any USB outlet (on your 3D TV, Computer, USB hub, Sony PS3, etc) they save you from buying batteries that wear out after only a month or so of viewing. Some people won't like the light weight feeling of these glasses, which work well for those with contacts or not needing glasses. The 100 version, which costs more and requires batteries, does have additional bulk / room for a pair of glasses.

Owning both the TDG-BR100 and TDG-BR250, I can say they are both good 3D glasses, yet, in the end I prefer the 250 for its feel and recharging ability. Like beauty, this one maybe in the eye of the beholder and user.

I am sharing my personal experience with the Sony TDG-BR250/B Combined with the products listed below..

The equipment I am using is.....
1) Sony KDL-46NX720 (LED 3D TV)
2) Sony BDV-HZ970W (Home Theater)
3) Sony DLC-HE10V Swivel High Speed HDMI Cable (I have two)
4) Sony TDG-BR250/B (I have Three)
5) Motorola DDCX3400M with Comcast HD and 3D Service.

I am going to start off by saying once I got everything connected I watched Avatar 3D on Comcast. My first impressions were not good I was getting ghosting whilst watching 3D content. Also as the camera moved from one side to the other the movement was really rough! At This point I was thinking how can some of you guys give these glasses 5 star ratings I was totally in agreement with people rating these glasses 1 star. I then started going through various internet sites and then found that The HDMI cable must be as short as possible and must be high speed with ethernet. (This info will help remove the possibility of cable failure) The original cable I used was from Comcast. The installer told me this cable is compatible with my equipment.

Once I connected the new Sony HDMI cable to replace the Comcast HDMI cable. I put Avatar back on through Comcast. I sat down in my seat with my Glasses on and VOILAAAA! WOW!! what a difference. I could not imagine how much better the picture could become. The depth, flicker free, the colors, the blacks and the 3D effect was unbeatable!

The Glasses are very comfortable now because I was so engrossed into the movie that you tend to forget the glasses are on your face. I can now understand that if your movie experience is poor then your mind would start wondering, Hence you would naturally start blaming the glasses.

I bought two of these glasses not knowing what to expect, because there are very few reviews on the quality of these glasses. However, I took a chance because of the Sony name. I am glad I did buy these glasses. The 3D experience is totally out of this world.

Based on very good 3D movies, these glasses delivered big time. However, if you view a 3D movie that does not have a good 3D format, you'll not experience the peak performance of these glasses.

In order to get any 3D active glasses to work well is to first, get a good 3D TV, then a good 3D blu ray player and make sure you get the 1.4 HDMI cable that supports 3D and finally to obtain a good 3D formatted blu ray movie, then and only then can you experience great 3D. Good 3D movies are few, but not hard to get. I'd go to [...] to search reviews on 3D movies. Lots of people buy 3D movies and post reviews.
