DSC-F717 is a very, very good camera, however you will need to get Sony VCLHGD0758 0.7x wide Conversion Lens to make that camera truly great, especially if you are taking a lot of panoramic or landscape or even cityscape photographs.Sony VCLHGD0758 0.7x wide Conversion Lens dramatically improves camera performance under any condition, with no quality loss whatsoever, and on top of that you'll definitely benefit from getting alot of physical exersise while handling that really big & really heavy lens, also be extra careful when using tripod, due to camera+lens heaviness, and you'll be rewarded with excellent photographs, after all its all that matters...
