Bought as laptop replacement on 17" machine that I carried around the world several times. Strong construction and light enough to carry to the jobsite and the hotel room at night. Screen is bright and clear. I like the keyboard also and the size and feel of them has proper spacing for large hands. The OS is fairly stable with only a screen driver problem sticking out as of yet. I use this maching for drafting and web development programming for the most part. But the entertainment side is a great plus. Blueray movies are vivid to watch and the screen is viewable from the sides as well. Have not seen a use for the blueray drive yet but it will be handy after the drive nears full. I would recommend this machine to anyone who wants it all in their machine, and not worried about the near 12 pounds with power supply plus having to settle for the bag that fits, not the looks.

Pros: Huge screen with full HD, full keyboard with numeric pad, excellent data and video processing.

Cons: Short battery life with standard battery, limited case selection due to large size.

I bought this as a home/small business computer and it hasn't disappointed me yet. The large screen makes it a great desktop replacement and is very easy to work in multiple windows at the same time. The processor speed knocked several minutes off the time to run large finite element models for work in 32 bit operations. I'm waiting for my software manufacturer to finish their 64 bit version for even better speed. Vista is running all of my software very well, the dual hard drives are fast, the 4GB of RAM has been nice. It took a little work to find a case but I found a nice Targus leather case that fit the computer nicely. Plan on taking this one to the store with you to check fit.... I'm planning on buying a second power supply to travel with and probably will also order the upgraded battery for longer life. I'm getting just over an hour of life out of the base battery with the screen at a fairly high brightness. I had high expectations for this computer and I'm very happy with it.
