I had searched or an appropriate laptop to buy in terms of performance and modernity. I zeroed in on the above after a lot of comparision. I absolutely love the Sony, it rocks. As descrbed, it had all the cool features, a BD writer, 4 B RAM and a big hard disk. The display was also great. Support from the vaio website was also very good, but it had its share of problems. Details like how the HDMI interface from laptop to HDMI capable TV needs a lot of research. However, effort spent is worth it.

Cons: Manual should have been included in the CD Rom or on the disk, it is cumbersome to open the site each time. Once you are used to the laptop, it becomes easy.
