I love the new laptop. It works fast, it's not too big and didn't have too much preinstalled things i had to take care of. And for the price, it was a bargain.

What can I say? this is the fifth Sony VAIO Laptop that I buy and can't get enough of them, they're fast and reliable if you take good care of them, this one is the first 64 bit that I buy and so far is very stable, even if you had to force a shutdown you can still recover your last session. I definitely recommend it.

2 years have passed and my laptop's still rocking! Definitely you can't go wrong with Sony VAIO!!!

This computer has been great so far, but it's only been about a month, so who knows. It comes loaded with a ton of stuff, too much in my opinion. That's the only downfall. In general it has been easy to use and of course i love the way it looks:)

Easy to set up but with a few too many pre-installed bells and whistles and a bit more weight than I had hoped for. Otherwise, a good buy.

After having the Sony vaio VGN-CS215J for seven months, I realize that Sony still have issues in perfecting these lap tops. My computer snores because the fan is noisy(a note was posted on their website to bring in 2 models for this problem) and the screen flickers at the bottom. What is this? hardware issues? It looks hard on the outside but I think this computer is too delicate for me. Not impress at all. I have to change it. The keyboard is nice.

This is the best laptop Ive owned. I've had em all. The Sony Vaio is best.

It's a SONY Vaio. So it delivers the promised quality and carries on its reputation.

But it's Sony America. I am not happy with their lack of response in regards to my general inquiry about the product to this day. Dell, on the other, has always been responsive and willing to help me for whatever issues. I purchased this Vaio because it happened to be a good deal at the time.

I'd recommend SONY Vaio if you know what you're doing.

UPDATE: (June, 2011) The operating system on my Vaio finally crashed beyond repair, which was caused by some crappy software, not really the manufacturer's (Sony) fault. Trying to reinstall or recover the operating system on this proprietary hardware is next to impossible without OEM drivers already embedded in the installation media. I am once again frustrated by Sony's lack of response and, when/if at all, bureaucratic customer support. This is my last dealing with any Sony computer products.

I bought this product on april 18, 2009 and it arrived with the ac power cord missing. After getting tired of Antonline (seller) and Amazon (who did nothing for me) i decided to buy the missing part (60 bucks from Sony) and solve my problem of a laptop with no ac power cord (because i live outside of US and its too expensive to send items back to US). The laptop stopped working on June 2010 with some motherboard issue that will cost at leat another 300 bucks from me, so i decided to throught this laptop to the garbage and get a new one, obviously not from Antonline. I don't know if this was bad luck or that i just got a 799.51 dollars piece of garbage.

My old one broke down, so I got this laptop.
I needed one to use in my room, so I wanted a big screen one(but not like 20 inch ones)

If you are using other Sony's products, this is a good one.
I'm using Sony's degital camera, and I can insert my Memory stick pro duo(which is like SD card but only for Sony).
