I bought this P720 from ebay refurbished with a 90-day sony warranty for $400. This is a full sized computer with 60 gig drive that does all common work. You must have good eyes and thin hands if touch-typing. Put in a little carrying case it goes inside any purse. One can start it off an email mode without entering windows, so it's almost as handy as a smartphone.

Its battery lasts less than an hour, so I bought a larger one (last 2 hours !) Hard to expect more from this size machine.

It's an incredible feat of engineering. Too bad that sony decided to sell it expensive ($900 or so) and marketed it for women in various colors. With the ipad out, the marketing strategy did not work. The earlier models had Xp and worked ok, but then sony installed vista, and it became too slow. Reviews were very poor on speed and expenditure. With windows 7 it's fairly nimble.

So after it's official 'death', this machine is much in demand on ebay for about $400-500. Be careful, many models P530 and P688 have vista.
