I bought this cable as a replacment for the standard cable supplied with my Sony HDR HC1 HDV camcorder. It is longer that the standard cable and is significantly better quality. I recommend this over the standard cables.
Very good basic product.

It is only an av cable so there isn't much to say. I use it to transfer video tapes from an old Hi-8 camera to a computer through my Handycam. I wanted the s-video connection for highest quality. I gave the item 4 stars because it is too expensive.

I searched all over for this replacement jack for my camera. Excellent product and services that were rendered.

Not much to say about a cable, but this one is well built and does the job well. If you need to hook your Sony camcorder to a television, this works.

Having the S-Video on the cable really does make a difference over the original that came with the camera. This is especially important when transferring recorded tapes to DVD.

Hi quality, versatile. Because of S-video and RCA on the same end, I was able to connect the camera to 2 different devices simultaneously, which was very helpful in my particular situation. The 10 foot length is very nice also.

This Sony product is very useful and handy when used with Sony Camcorder for transferring the videos to a desktop DVD recorder. I have the option of connecting the S-Video cable with the audio cables (that is , if your recorder is capable for those connections). or be able to connect the RCA cables (Red-Audio; White-Audio & Yellow color-Video cables)if there is no S-Video connectivity.

I use this cable to come out of a Sony HDR-FX7 for live video broadcast of athletic events online. I really like the extra length over the Sony supplied one. Plus, having the S-video addition is great for better video quality over RCA.

Expecting a knock-off cable because of the price but received a Sony factory made cable. More than I expected and looking forward to more products here.
