Sony VMC-MD1 Multi-Use Terminal Cable

Using this with a Sony Cybershot DSC-T300 Sony Cybershot DSCT300/R 10.1MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Zoom with Super Steady Shot (Red). The issues I have is that the whole picture doesn't show up on the TV screen (it's a zoomed in too much), and you can't play any "movie mode" recordings when this cable is attached. These playback limitations are certainly the fault of the Sony Cybershot camera but you'll won't notice these limitations until you hook it up to a TV using this cable.

After losing my original Sony camera transfer cable. I purchased a new one through Amazon. Its the exact same and works perfectly. A great buy.

Got it in three days. Bought it for a DSC-W55 Cybershot. Unfortunately I didn't read the manual. It won't charge the battery, it only supplies fulltime power to the camera. Need to order a seprate battery charger. Maybe I'll go to Bestbuy.

The cable worked just as advertised, and I save a lot of money getting it from Amazon...

When I was looking for a replacement cable for my camera I came across this one with more features. It works great. Glad I found it.

I purchased this cable for use with my Sony cybershot 7.2 and it works just fine. I was skeptical about ordering from an unknown source and online at first but the products works well and there aren't any problems with it.

This cable has everything all included. That is the advantage and the disadvantage. First of all, you have purchased a Sony camera that is small, the Cyber Shot. You want to carry it in a pocket, or better still a small case. I have found a small case by Case Logic that I can clip to my belt loop. If you travel a lot, as I do, you will want your cable with you to down load images or to share on a TV, and perhaps print for a friend or relative that you are visiting. Having one cable that does all this is great. However, where do you carry this cable. I have placed mine in the small camera case extra pocket. There in, lies the problem. This cable is bulky because it has all these connections in one cable. However, I guess it beats carrying three cables which would surly not fit in the small Case Logic side pocket. You can't have your cake and eat it too! Most of the small camera cases are too small to carry this cord, or they are too bulky to put in your pocket when you can put the cord in them. The Case Logic (camouflage case is still available) answers both of these concerns.

This brings me to the second concern. Since there is little space in a small case, the cord has to be stuffed into a small compartment. It is thus easy to damage the two contacts that are on the end of the cord that fits into the camera. When operating properly, the camera end of the cord has two prongs that hold the cord to the camera. The sides of the cord plug must be squeezed to release from the camera. These are more likely to fail on the off brand cords. The metal contact points are likely to get snagged and bent when stuffing into the small case compartment.

As a side note, the Case Logic Camouflage case would be difficult to find if you dropped it on the ground in the fall, but would be easy to find in the car, a box, bag, or purse. Do not buy a black case unless you like misplacing your camera, or losing it! The Case Logic case is the smallest case that will hold the camera and cord and still fit in a pocket. All other small cases that I have found will not hold the cord, or they are too large to fit in a pocket.

I have purchased an extra cord to insure I have a spare. I have damaged my first cord and repaired it. My wife and I love our Sony Cybershot W120 cameras. They take great pictures and are so convenient. The product was exactly what I was looking for since I lost my original cable. The product was easy to use and worth the price.

The only problem I had was in the DELIVERY of the cable. It as supposed to arrive before Christmas I received it the Tuesday after Christmas which mess up my picture taking. I was unable to download pictures. I would rate delivery POOR.

I WAS HAPPY TO FIND WHAT I NEEDED `.I THANKS TO AMAZON.IT WAS GREAT DOING BUSINESS WITH AMAZON AND THEIR FINE STAFF.

Delivery was quite efficient. The Sony cable works well as I used it to export pictures from my camera. I have found no issues with it so far.
