Shipping was super fast and arrived well cushioned in a larger box with plenty of packing peanuts, many thanks to the shipper (Electronic Express). Overall couldn't be happier w/ this laptop.. not only is it super light, screen is crisp and bright, but the design and quality of materials used is outstanding for this price. Personally I think it looks nicer than mac for nearly half the price! Win7 functions like a champ. My favorite is the edge to edge keyboard with full numeric pad, very handy for finances and spreadsheets. This is one gorgeous and outstanding laptop for this price; I would be very hard pressed to find a comparable laptop on the market today. Anyway go buy it, you've got my word this is an excellent buy for your buck!

I've been searching for a laptop for a while and I think I have found the perfect one of me. I work in accounting so having the numeric keypad was very important to me. The look is very sleek and I got a purple keyboard cover from the Sony store so that is very cute. This is a great work and play computer.

I bought this VPCEB12FX 8 months ago and all I got is a bunch of issues. After 2 months, the hard drive went bad and was replaced under warranty but I lost all my data. Then, the mouse pad went crazy and is still crazy. The pointer would move uncontrollably preventing any type operation. The power supply connection to the laptop became loose and the slightest movement makes it fall from the unit. I will never buy VAIO again. They look really good but beauty ain't going to help if what you need is a laptop. BTW, customer service is terrible, not 24 hours...operates from Japan I think (I even prefer India because they speak better English).
