A multimedia LCD projector from Sony, the VPL-ES1 is a lightweight, high-quality model that's ideal for presentations of all kinds. With its 0.62-inch TFT LCD (1,440,000 pixels) elements, 800 x 600 resolution, and up to 1,500 ANSI lumens of brightness, the projected image is bright and easy-to-read. The 4x zoom and 40 to 150-inch screen size let you adjust the picture to best suit your audience's needs.

Weighing only six pounds, the VPL-ES1 is easily transportable, while its 11.625-by-9.375-inch footprint sets up on virtually any convenient surface. The remote commander and onscreen display provide a convenient way to control the projector, freeing you to move around the room, and the 1-watt mono speaker provides a stand-alone audio output, adding to the effectiveness of your presentation. Fan noise is around 35dB, while the AC 100 to 240V, 50/60 Hz power supply consumes about 250 watts of power (max) during normal operation and about 4.6 watts on standby.

The VPL-ES1 supports a wide variety of signals and color systems, including RGB/component, S-video, composite video, NTSC 3.58, PAL, SECAM, NTSC4, and more. The projector also comes backed with a two-year limited warranty on both parts and labor.
