Design flaws are numerous for this armband. You can not manipulate the controls as they are covered. The device is not as secure as it needs to be no flap over where the device slides increases likelihood it could slip out. Would not recommend.

Unit would fit perhaps many items but clearly NOT designed for the Sony MP3 player.
It's significantly too big, does not have a positive closure (e.g. velcro) if you are running; does not have a hole for the headphone jack (you can cut your own).

Controls do not work well through the plastic. Heck they hardly work at all.

This item MIGHT be better than carrying the player in your hand. Otherwise I'd stear very clear.

I ordered this in a package (from this company) - so would like to return it, but like the other items in the package. I tried to get the armband to fit around my arm and when I could not, I took it to my gym and asked the personal trainer to help me and he told me that it was an L size and that I needed to have the arms of a personal trainer to wear it. So currently I have 3 safety pins holding it in place to fit my medium arm.

Personally, I wish they made it so the band would tighten a little more. I have skinny arms and I had to add some velcro to cover the gap in workmanship. Otherwise, it works great. With the short corded head phones / ear plugs, it helps so I can listen to my music without having to have a cord running down to my waist and snagging alot of the time. Great when I go for walks, I can skip or pause without having to take it out of the cover. Also great when I am working in the yard or shoveling snow.

The Sony MP3 player provides excellent audio and video reproduction. The only downside to the product is the extensive online documentation. The documentation is a large number of pages, too large to print. I found it difficult to setup the player and copy music because of having to go back and forth between the online documentation, the program and Windows Media. A hard copy users manual is absolutely necessary to those who are not a technically proficient with the software and means to copy music or videos to the player. Sony should include a hard copy users manual or at least a request line to obtain a free copy with purchase.
