Surprisingly convenient PC card, Superb, July 31, 2003

This review is from: Sony VAIO 2.4 GHz Wireless LAN PC Card with Super-Slim Antenna (PCWA-C150S) (Personal Computers)
When I bought this PCWA-C150S wireless card, I just wanted to match my Sony notebook. But surprisingly, it turned out to be very convenient since the antenna is "super-slim" -- I even didn't compare the antenna with other wireless cards until one day I saw in a group that other guys unplugged their wireless cards (such as Netgear MA401) in order to carry the notebooks. I never unplugged my card except that once I accidentally pulled the handle for the slot. Plus, the card is very easy to install. Signals are strong. I use it at home as well as the work place. It communicates very well with Linksys and Netgear wireless routers, even the routers are in the next room. The only thing that I don't like is: it is more expensive than other cards. But I don't regret I bought it since it is really easy to go. If you'd like to have a card with your laptop all the time, buy it.

Exact same as the Apple Airport Card (802.11b), September 16, 2004
This review is from: Sony VAIO 2.4 GHz Wireless LAN PC Card with Super-Slim Antenna (PCWA-C150S) (Personal Computers)
For the money, you Vaio users should just get an Apple airport card. They are the exact same card... just so you know. Also, Apple and their resellers sold them much cheaper than Sony ever did.
