Pros:
Economical
Comfortable for long periods
Microphone and phone controls
Decent quality sound
Small, stays in ear correctly

Cons:
Recently discontinued (just found out)
Only decent quality sound
Controls only work properly and completely on Apple products

I bought this after reading the review in "The Wirecutter" stating that they were better than headphones that cost many times more. While there was little additional information, I went for it. Given the price, I wouldn't say that they were a bad purchase, but they definitely are not best in class. They are simply above average budget headphones. Nothing more, nothing less.

Sound is good, but not exceptional. Ok bass, but nothing to write home about. The sound is precise, so it sounds how it should, although I definitely wouldn't go to the extreme of saying they are monitors. One thing that always makes me aware of good "3D sound" in headphones is when you have to take them off repeatedly because you think that someone is talking in the background or some other realistic sound, only to find that it's the music. For me that's a good sign, and these definitely are in that category. My biggest complaint is simply that while it gives rich sound, it doesn't give the type of audio quality that makes you want to close your eyes and drift into the sound. But then again, let me repeat that they do sound good. I guess the problem is that I was on the market for 200$ headphones, and in the end settled for 50$ ones.

Recommended? Yeah, sure, as long as you find them cheap.

If it's been helpful and you have a sec, give it a thumbs up. Thanks for reading.

Nothing WRONG with the earphones. Just that I ordered them on the heels of a rave review for earbuds under a hundred bucks and they sound no better than the basic level Seinheisser's I was upgrading from. Not bad but nowhere near the calibre of earbuds they beat out in the competition. My bad for putting so much faith in a single writeup...
Key point is the fit and balance. THAT's superb.
Sounds is clear but again....not worth the rave....

I bought this based on Wirecutter's review of in-ear head phones. I'm very disappointed in the lack of low sounds produced by these earbuds.

I've bought much cheaper (~$30) that sounded just as good in the highs and mids but with much better bass. I would not buy these again.

They'd probably be more than adequate if you only listen to classical and talk radio/podcasts type of sound.

Superb balanced sound, very light and comfortable to wear, can listen to music for hours without fatiguing.
Definitely 5 stars for the price.

For people who find no bass on these, check the fittings, and give it an hour or 2 of burn-in time.

p.s I like the sound from smaller fitting, it sounds better to me, maybe it's because it goes into the ear bit further while allowing some air for the music to breath through hence a more airy sound which I like, and it's also more comfortable for longterm usage.

I couldn't get these to fit so that the music was directed in the optimum position with any size earbuds I tried. I will not be using these unless my mains break. they are light and comfortable when I can get them in the right position but they don't stay there.

Nothing special about these though, worth under $30

The headphones sound realty clear, but can use a little more bass, and I'm not one of those people who need to hear a lot of bass. They are comfortable for me, but the price point is a bit steep. I'll have to wait over time to see how durable it is.

Comfortable in the ears and great sound for the price. I would put these up against most sets costing twice the price.
