The speakers were great. My system only put out 190watts so I saw these speakers,thought it was a pretty good deal. Compared to other places like Best Buy

I love the sound from these speakers, nice enough bass and nice highs, very pleased.

Product is quality like you would expect anything less from Sony. Shipping was within the window. Lister was great and payment easy. Easy install as long as you know what you are doing. Do not expect base from these speakers, these speakers are only good for mid's or high's. Exactly what I wanted!

My husband replaced the blown speakers in our 2000 Chyrsler 300M. He had to get some brackets from Best Buy because they weren't quite wide enough but they're installed and they work well. My daughter, who uses the car, is happy.

I just replaced my stock speakers with these and, oh boy, what a difference! The highs and mids are ultra clear. Very little or no bass though. Less bass than my stock speakers, however these speakers are very loud. The base sounds like light thumping, but nothing deep. If I could buy again, I would've picked another speaker. You definitely get what you pay for.

If you like rock music, these speakers are perfect. If you like pop or dance, these are good to compliment your bass speakers (if you have them). If you're expecting good bass, I would recommend Infinity's.

These speakers were super easy to install in my Honda Odyssey. I replaced the front and rear speakers with these Sony's and noticed a huge improvement in sound quality. The OEM speakers had a muddy sound to it while these Sony's are great for high and mid frequencies. The bass leaves a lot to be desired but it is acceptable. If you've got some sort of bass enhancement setting on your stereo, you should enable it to enjoy these speakers to the fullest!

Would I buy them again? Probably not. It is a good speaker set for someone who is not very picky or serious about sound quality. For the average user, these are very good. Next time around, I would probably go with some higher end Kenwood or Alpine speakers.

These are great speakers and fit perfectly in factory drilled holes in my wife's '93 Miata. Factory door panels go right over them.

I could still feel the bass, even over two rear-deck 3-way 6x9s and a 10" sub in the trunk.

I have the (80w) 6x9s on the same 45w head unit and a 500w sub turned down to match though, so that probably makes a difference to my perception of it.

In any case, they have good sound quality for 40w speakers. Solder your connections and they sound fine.

Used for car sterio setup in garage. They're the only speekers on this setup. A little light on the bass power, but certianly what I'd expect from only 6-1/2" rounds. Would be fine in a car system with larger speakers in back. Yes, I would buy them again.
